A Great Universal Scope.
Meopta ZD riflescopes were developed for extremely difficult light and weather conditions. The collimator function at magnification 1x and illuminated red dot is suitable especially for automatic rifles. Using the 4x magnification, it transforms to the perfect scope for short range and medium range shooting. Thanks to these features this riflescope is much sought after by all the professionals who need a universal scope.
Combo comes complete with LaRue Tactical LT104-30 QD mount, installation tools and instructions.

Available with LaRue QD Speed Levers or VFZ mounts.
If you choose VFZ, There will be a $25 / lever reduction in price reflected in the shopping cart.

About VFZ Mounts:
VFZ is a new theory in the concept of clamping accessories to MIL-STD-1913 rails. Instead of using a horizontal cross-bolt, the VFZ uses a vertical bolt that draws up a clamping foot against the lower angle of the rail, seating the mount similarly to a fully-closed LaRue lever.

Once installed on the firearm, index marks allow the user to remove the mount, then reattach to the same tension, providing unprecedented return to zero for a non-QD-levered mount. The unique vertical alignment of the clamp allows components that are structurally stronger than traditional cross-bolt designs.
Features:
  • Universal scope for short and medium range shooting
  • At magnification 1x with illuminated red dot usable as a collimator
  • Suitable for automatic rifles
  • Extremely high light transmission
  • Designed for extreme conditions

  • About VFZ™ Mounts:
VFZ™ is a new theory in the concept of clamping accessories to MIL-STD-1913 rails. Instead of using a horizontal cross-bolt, the VFZ™ uses a vertical bolt that draws up a clamping foot against the lower angle of the rail, seating the mount similarly to a fully-closed LaRue lever. Once installed on the firearm, index marks allow the user to remove the mount, then reattach to the same tension, providing unprecedented return to zero for a non-QD-levered mount. The unique vertical alignment of the clamp allows components that are structurally stronger than traditional cross-bolt designs.

Why should I select VFZ™ Mounts instead of a QD Lever Mount?:
If you intend to leave an optic or accessory on a rail for the life of the rifle, the VFZ™ option is for you. The VFZ™ is intended as a longer-term, semi-permanent mounting alternative to our well-known Speed Levers. While both mounts will allow the user to remove the mount from the weapon, reinstall it in the same position, and return to zero, the VFZ™ mount is intended for users that will not need to constantly remove and install their mounts (especially in the field).

I questioned getting this for a few months while saving for optics because of price. Truth is, now that I have them in hand, both products are top quality and amazing. The price is fair and worth it. Unlike many other shooters new to the game, or old, I made an unregretful decision and got it right the first time.

Works well with 300 BLK. I use it with my 10.2" Noveske upper. 50 yards: Zeroed with Barnes 110gr. VOR-TX. Use the middle chevron for 220gr. SMK subs. 100 yards: Supersonic 110gr still on the dot, top chevron for 125gr, bottom chevron for subs. 200 yards: Top chevron for supersonic. The illuminated reticle is daylight visible on the brightest setting. The photo doesn't show it properly, but the two bars on either side of the center dot are also illuminated. The light transmission at night time is also very good. With decent moonlight or some low ambient lighting, the lower brightness settings work well. Overall I am pleased with this scope. I was going to get a T1, but I'm glad I spent extra to get this. Bullet drop with supersonic vs. subsonic makes it worth while, and I can still have red dot like function with 1x and the highest brightness setting. It does weigh a lot more though, so take that into account.

I have owned several Meopta scopes over the years and all are top notch glass the 1-4X22 zd is the same. Reticle is spot on hold overs out to 500 yds. is as far as I have had a chance to shoot it on my LWRC SPR 5.56 14.5". The LT 104-30 mount is like everything else LaRue makes is quality products, great combo of products would recommend!
