World-class features in a reasonably-priced package.
Well-known for a long history of hunting scopes, Bushnell has recently entered the higher-end Tactical Optics market with this phenomenal riflescope designed specifically to meet the needs of the sniper community. Everyone who has tried it agrees that Bushnell hit a home run. Leveraging successful design features from their Bushnell Elite series, Bushnell has arrived at an outstanding scope at a very competitive price. Great features like a 34mm tube, first focal plane magnification and locking target turrets make the HDMR an excellent value, and credible contender in a competitive tactical optics market.

The Horus H59 Reticle
The H59 is a normal mil-based; standard Horus subtended 0.2 mil reticle with newly added extended mil dots to keep the reticle clean while giving more wind capability. The Accuracy 1st Speed Shooting Formula has been implemented into the reticle to allow fast accurate acquisition of targets by a refined milling-to-drop method.

QD Scope Mount Choices:
Either mount comes complete with spare mounting screws with wrench, QD adjustment wrench, and Instructions.

LT111
The LT-111 OBR (Optimized Battle Rifle) QD Scope Mount was designed specifically for the OBR. The height is set for 1.535" above the rail, for perfect alignment with weapon-mounted clip-on night vision devices. There is zero built-in cant to ensure perfect centerline alignment (the OBR has 20 MOA built-in to the upper rail). The generous 2.9" ring spacing accommodates large turret blocks with ease.

LT104
The LT104 places the centerline of the optic 1.5" above the top of the rail for optimum cheek weld with a variety of AR-platform rifles. The cantilever positions the scope out front over the handguard, eliminating the need to span from the receiver to the handguard. The cantilever also allows the shooter to obtain proper eye relief. The popularity of the SPR series of mounts is partially due to the innovative backbone that connects the split vertical rings. This design provides a more robust platform for the optics, increases repeatability, and eliminates the need for time-consuming lapping.
RainGuard® HD
The next generation of the world’s most effective anti-fog technology, it breaks up moisture even faster and more effectively than our original formula, plus facilitates a higher percentage of light transmission for the clearest, brightest view possible.

Argon Purging
Argon now replaces nitrogen in the purging process. Because of its larger atom size, this gaseous element resists diffusing and bonding with oxygen for a lifetime of dependable service and more.

Ultra Wide Band Coating
This revolutionary system harnesses and optimizes visible light, boosting Elite riflescopes to a world-leading 99.73% per lens.

  • About VFZ™ Mounts:
VFZ™ is a new theory in the concept of clamping accessories to MIL-STD-1913 rails. Instead of using a horizontal cross-bolt, the VFZ™ uses a vertical bolt that draws up a clamping foot against the lower angle of the rail, seating the mount similarly to a fully-closed LaRue lever. Once installed on the firearm, index marks allow the user to remove the mount, then reattach to the same tension, providing unprecedented return to zero for a non-QD-levered mount. The unique vertical alignment of the clamp allows components that are structurally stronger than traditional cross-bolt designs.

Why should I select VFZ™ Mounts instead of a QD Lever Mount?:
If you intend to leave an optic or accessory on a rail for the life of the rifle, the VFZ™ option is for you. The VFZ™ is intended as a longer-term, semi-permanent mounting alternative to our well-known Speed Levers. While both mounts will allow the user to remove the mount from the weapon, reinstall it in the same position, and return to zero, the VFZ™ mount is intended for users that will not need to constantly remove and install their mounts (especially in the field).

This is the best scope on the market for the price. The HDMR combined with the LT-111 mount is rock solid! The Horus H59 is the best reticle I've ever used. This reticle makes hold overs and wind holds a breeze. I wish I had one for every rifle I own!!

I am a hard core Rock River customer but they treat me like $hit ! So I am saving for an 7.62 OBR . LaRue has earned my business . LaRue Tactical Rocks ! I would like to add that the Horus 59 reticle is still a mystery at the range , so you have such an advantage , its hilarious !

Outstanding optics! Clear crisp optics. Mine is mounted on my DPMS LR308 S.S.A.S rifle. Once I had the sight zeroed, the H59 reticle grid made all compensations a snap. Can not beat the price for the quality of the optics.

Using this scope with the QD LT807 and it is rock solid, with no shift in impact point, excellent controls and crystal clear glass. It is a bit heavy but worth it for the quality you get. I am using it on a .308 for long range shooting but when it is dialed down it does just fine poking holes in deer.

I was so stoked when I found this scope- and offered here with the mount combo. I have been bouncing it between my 5.56 and my 7.62- FFP and H59 make this a dream to use. clear and solid. a little on the weighty side- but this is no run and gun scope. Lay down and enjoy your hits. You guys should offer Pre Mounting (scope to mount) for combo deals. that would be hot-

I love this scope. Glass is top notch and won in a side by side comparison against a leupold mark 4. The Horus H59 reticle is a huge improvement over the traditional mil dot system and also to the previous H58 reticle system as the broken line center dot crosshair makes it easier to punch MOA sized targets. The scope tracks beautifully but i do not plan on using the dials as the H59 grid reticle is more than sufficient in speed and consistency. The wide range of magnification is great for CQB at 50 yards (if you can handle the weight) to precision shots at 1,000+ yards. The locking turrets are a huge benefit banging around in the back of the car and i was able to get used to them very quickly. All in all a great scope and the best one i ever purchased or looked through...HIGHLY recommended!

I have the HDMR with an LT112 (20moa) mount on an AR308 variant. A quick call into customer service let me swap that in for the lt111 combo price. Thanks guys! There were limited reviews of the hdmr with the horus 59 at the time of purchase. There were great reviews on the glass, and limited but very positive reviews on the reticle. However, nothing about the combo. I rolled the dice and could not be happier. This is a phenomenal value for the modest price, and it will allow me to further develop my skills as a long range shooter. Michigan isn't the best venue to learn long range, but I am confident that this scope will take me to 1000m. Also, there is always lots of talk on the return to zero of the mounts. On a 100y basis, I have not experienced more than a 3/4" shift with sloppy installations, given about ten trials.

First off I have to say dealing with Larue was a great pleasure. The item was ordered late Tuesday night and I received the scope on Friday. The LT111 was a pleasure to mount. Simply clamp it on and mount your scope. The scope tracked fine and the reticle was calibrated perfect. My first thoughts optically was that it could be better as it starts to get milky at 19x. However once we got out to shooting and I compared to my brothers Nightforce I was actually surprised on the optics. I did all the turret tracking test one would do and all in all it tracks great. I then fired a shot and removed and replaced the scope via the QD mounts and repeated for five shots...to be honest my groups opened up from .25 moa to about .83 moa but this is to be expected as I broke my hold to remove and remount the scope...so the mount does what it is supposed to do. Not only will I do more business with Larue but they will be my first choice when looking for products...Even if it does cost me a couple of bucks more..

I purchased this scope months ago and final today got to try it out. I read many articles on the Horus 59 reticle and thought it would be to busy to learn very quickly. I was wrong even though it looks very busy it's easy to use. If you can do MOA/MOA you can use this reticle. Even though it is based if MIL/MIL. You only need to think in MIL's not minutes. The LT-111 mount is wonderful best mount I have every used I use it on 5 different rifles and it holds zero on all. Would recommend this combo to anyone that wants to up their game. Kurt Pietrzak

Third HDMR H-59 and is still the best reticle/optic combination at this price range. And of course the quality mount by Larue is flawless with repeatable zero during rail swaps.

104 mount is comfortable height for my flat top Noveske AR. It's a good height when using a collapsible stock so no need for a fixed type precision stock. The Bushnell HDMR is an amazing optic and has the ability to way outperform anything in this price range. Glass is clear, reticle is extremely functional and provides for calculations of windage and holdovers without having to dial the turrets. Pair this optic with a good ballistics app and you can really use the reticle to its full potential! Larue has an amazing price on this optic and mount that cannot be beat, scope and mount for about the price that many places offer just for the optic.
