SKU: LT104

The Industry Standard.
The LT104 is the best mount made for attaching high-power riflescopes onto flattop-style AR15's, period.

The LT104 places the centerline of the optic 1.5" above the top of the rail for optimum cheek weld with a variety of AR-platform rifles. The cantilever positions the scope out front over the handguard, eliminating the need to span from the receiver to the handguard. The cantilever also allows the shooter to obtain proper eye relief.

The popularity of the SPR series of mounts is partially due to the innovative backbone that connects the split vertical rings. This design provides a more robust platform for the optics, increases repeatability, and eliminates the need for time-consuming lapping. The rings are precision-machined with the tightest tolerances, and feature threaded steel inserts, built to withstand a lifetime of abuse.

Like all LaRue mounts, it is precision-machined out of bar-stock aluminum and anodized. The locking LaRue Speed Levers provide outstanding return to zero; the optic can be removed, and replaced, without loss of zero. Guaranteed.

Assembly and adjustment only takes a few minutes, then off to the range.

About VFZ Mounts:
VFZ is a new theory in the concept of clamping accessories to MIL-STD-1913 rails. Instead of using a horizontal cross-bolt, the VFZ uses a vertical bolt that draws up a clamping foot against the lower angle of the rail, seating the mount similarly to a fully-closed LaRue lever.

Once installed on the firearm, index marks allow the user to remove the mount, then reattach to the same tension, providing unprecedented return to zero for a non-QD-levered mount. The unique vertical alignment of the clamp allows components that are structurally stronger than traditional cross-bolt designs.

Ring Sizes Available:
Available with: 35mm, 34mm, 30mm or 1" rings (see pull-down menu to the right).

Note on BUIS systems:
Some BUIS will not fit under your scope in this mount. If you have ANY questions on your application, please call us. We are well versed in fitment. Do not automatically order the taller mount before consulting with us. Thanks!

Available with LaRue QD Speed Levers or VFZ mounts (see pull-down to the right)

About VFZ™ Mounts:
VFZ™ is a new theory in the concept of clamping accessories to MIL-STD-1913 rails. Instead of using a horizontal cross-bolt, the VFZ™ uses a vertical bolt that draws up a clamping foot against the lower angle of the rail, seating the mount similarly to a fully-closed LaRue lever. Once installed on the firearm, index marks allow the user to remove the mount, then reattach to the same tension, providing unprecedented return to zero for a non-QD-levered mount. The unique vertical alignment of the clamp allows components that are structurally stronger than traditional cross-bolt designs.

Why should I select VFZ™ Mounts instead of a QD Lever Mount?:
If you intend to leave an optic or accessory on a rail for the life of the rifle, the VFZ™ option is for you. The VFZ™ is intended as a longer-term, semi-permanent mounting alternative to our well-known Speed Levers. While both mounts will allow the user to remove the mount from the weapon, reinstall it in the same position, and return to zero, the VFZ™ mount is intended for users that will not need to constantly remove and install their mounts (especially in the field).

I recently installed the 104 mount on my new match/competition AR platform rifle. It's very nice. I would like to clarify that the 104 mount puts the scope centerline exactly 1.5" above the rail as advertised. Be aware the barrel centerline to optic centerline is 2.8". The 2.8" height is great for 223 bullet drop ballistics versus a lower mount. However, I would recommend a cant indicator at this height.

I installed the LT 104-1-VFZ on my Sig 516. I loosely mounted the scope base and scope on the receiver. That's when the light came on! In order to clean the rifle you must break open the upper and lower receivers. And to do that you MUST remove the scope. I called LaRue. For the additional 50 bucks I should have sent up front they are installing the QD Speed Levers. With a one day turn around. Can't ask for more than that.

This mount will never be equaled or bettered. For me, It holds a 1 inch tube Bushnell Elite 6500 2 1/2 by 16. It mounts atop a custom AR 6.8 SPC Noveske 18 inch VIS upper. I take the scope off and back on maybe 2 or 3 times a year switching from the Elite 6500 for deer to a Eotech for hogs, etc. First of all the Noveske shoots a 1 inch bench rest group at 200 yds. (that's why I deer hunt with the gun.) Every time I have removed the scope and reinstalled it, it is 100% dead on. I do put it back in the same picatinny slots and tighten the two cam levers on the mount the same each time. But, that's it. I have never seen another scope mount that will always come back to exactly zero when removed and reinstalled. I put an 3/9 Leupold on a Colt .233 AR with the same mount. Don't take it off and on, but if I did I would have no question of where it was sighted when reinstalled.

I am very impressed by the QD LT 104 scope mount. I ordered it to install on my Sig 516 Patrol Rifle. This is my first AR rifle. I have owned several bolt action hunting rifles. When you mount a scope on one of them it usually stays on the rifle forever. Given this experience I chose the VFZ mount. Well..... I installed the mount on the rail over the receiver, finger tightened the bolts, and mounted the scope loosely in the rings. And this is the moment the light came on! To clean a bolt action rifle you remove the bolt and work on the barrel. The scope is never in the way. With the AR at a minimum you brake open the upper and lower receivers. To swing the receiver open you MUST remove the scope. So semi permanent attachment of the scope with the VFZ mount is not an advantage. I called LaRue and was instructed to return the mount, and they would for the 50 bucks I should have spent in the frst place, they would install the QD Speed Levers with a one day turn around. Can't ask for more than that.

I have #104 on dpms ar10 308 in a 1-inch tube burris 4x12x40 fulfield, changed barrels, the scope still shoots in bullseye. Scope has been off &on many times! I'll use this mount on all my shooters! There are other mounts that do the same return to zero, But they are not A4 rail type with levers. Probably the best scope mount on market for light weight, stout, & returns to zero. pricey but good. I recently installed this mount on my AR-15. Fantastic piece of equipment and appears to be rock solid. I installed a Leupold VX-R Fire Dot scope on the LaRue mount and after obtaining zero, I took the LaRue/Leupold package off the rifle and then remounted it to see if it would hold zero, and it does. Once my AR-10 is built, I will purchase another LaRue mount for that rifle. I especially liked the gifts that came with the mount, such as the three mini US Constitution booklets, the Dillo Dust, and the Armadillo AR tool. Now, I just need to move to Texas and get the "!@#$" out of California.

This was my first time ordering from LaRue, but I had been told by several that they made the best QD mounts available. I received the order promptly and was surprised that they included their Dillo tool and dry rub seasoning for free! I mounted my Trijicon Accupoint per the instructions using the LT 104 mount and took off to the range to sight in. I was disappointed to find that the scope was walking in the mounts and called LaRue Tech Support. Tony suggested I send him a few pictures of the setup, so he could take a look. He called me back immediately and gently let me know that i had reversed the top screws in the mount. I remounted correctly and that solved the problem! My five star rating is not only for the products itself, but also the company and it's people. I will definitely be ordering from LaRue again and would recommend the LT 104 mount.

I've used the Nikon P-223 mount (two rings), their M-223 mount & a set of UTG Qd rings. Not to denigrate any of the latter; the La Rue QD L-104 is untold levels above anything else I've used. It is exceptionally well built, well engineered and slips on and off the Picatinny rail of my AR upper like melted butter. In addition to the two clamps, there are two perpendicular bars, in the track, which meld perfectly into the rail to eliminate any possibility for the mount to shift fore or aft from recoil. Don't waste your money on lesser quality mounts that will ultimately reside in the bottom of your gun safe, unless you want to gift them to rival shooters.

I mounted my Nikon M223 BDC600 onto my AR with this mount about 5 months ago. Needless to say, the same mount with the same optic is still on this rifle. I have taken it off many times for cleaning or switching over to my EOTech (also on a LT QD mount). After firing 100+ rounds down the barrel with a different optic, I switch back to the scope with the mount, and I can repeat my zero at 300 yards every. damn. time. All of my skeptical friends ask me for proof, so I show them over and over what it'll do. Then they ask, "So is it worth the money?" That's where I'm not sure. If you're going to put in on your rifle and keep it on or take it off very infrequently, don't waste the money. I, however, take it off and switch back and forth quite often and mostly at random when I plan a last-minute hunt somewhere, so, do I think it's worth the money? For me, yes. For everyone? No. Get it if you need it. Don't waste money if you could go with any other mount just the same. It only takes a 5-10 rounds to re-zero a scope you previously had on your rifle. It's not worth the extra $100 over any other scope mount unless you're gonna be taking it off a lot or if you never know which one of your optics you may need for last-minute hunts, shoots, etc.

I purchased this mount for my HK416 DMR Setup. (Designated Marksman Rifle) This mount secures my Leupold Mark AR Mod-1 4x12 40mm Mil-Dot Scope perfectly! This mount DOES NOT have the 10 MOA cant. This mount is ideal for short to mid-range shooting applications. I travel with my rifles and I do not leave my optics on the rifles under the plane! I carry them topside to avoid damage or loss. This mount has an impressive repeatable return-to-zero capability. While in the service I tested this capability on a regular basis. If you install the mount how Larue recommends it will secure and retain a zero. I have taken off this mount and remounted hundreds of times without any zeroing issues. I truly believe this mount is the best on the market today. Many companies try to compete with the Larue design and reliability but none come close. If you are a long range shooter check out Larue's LT158 Mount. It adds 10 MOA of elevation to obtain maximum range adjustments from your optic!

I couldn't possibly contribute anything of a positive nature that hasn't already been said, except that I have bought several of the LT-104 over the years and have been nothing but happy with all of them. And, I regularly recommend them to others. The one and only thing to consider is, if you shoot prone a lot, you may be happier with the LT-139 extended version for better eye relief, but that will vary with the shooter. My best advice would be to start with the LT-104 and if you need more eye relief for prone shooting, then buy the LT-139 BUT WHATEVER YOU DO, KEEP THE 104! Sooner or later you'll need the 104 for something else, and then you'd already have it.

From Larue's add: "The Industry Standard. The LT104 is the best mount made..." They should have stopped right there because that is all you need to know. This mount is much sleeker and about 2 ounces less then it's competition. I was skeptical at first due to the price and the return to zero claims. After buying 1 for my first AR build I must say it truely does return extremely close to zero and it is worth every penny. As of today I have two build's with two LT-104's. Every AR I build will have a LT optic mount atop it. Thanks Mark for the great products. Your company and staff are the best in the business.

I purchased this mount for a new Vortex Crossfire II 3-12x56 AO Hog Hunter riflescope. This optic is mounted on my AR 15 rifle, chambered in 6.8 SPC II, which is primarily used for hog and deer hunting. I needed a mount that would provide both sufficient clearance for the large objective lens, and ample eye relief. The LT104 meets both of these requirements while providing a sturdy platform, the convenience of quick release and return without losing zero, and the aesthetic quality that we have come to know and expect from Larue Tactical. I have purchased several optic mounts from Larue over the years, and I can say with confidence that despite the price point, I will continue to look to Larue for my optic mount needs. As a side note, Larue Dillo Dust is spectacular on steaks, ribs, and burgers. I can't say enough about superior products, quality service, and American craftsmanship.

My recent purchase of the LT104-30 VFZ and the LT36 30mm to 1" spacers have left me totally satisfied for what my needs were. I did a lot of research on different mounts and took special interest in the La Rue Tactical mounts since it was most recommended in the 6.5 Grendel forum when I asked for advise. What I wanted was a mount that was strong and didn't need to be burdened with a quick release and the extra weight. What I received was a hell for strong mount that is simple to put on my Precision Firearms billet upper and that fit like it had been made specifically for it. A mount truly engineered and built to take the pounding that it will receive on the ranch and ATVs. Thank you La Rue. Respectfully, John Fitzgerald Ps. Gave it a 4 star because I don't believe any product can't be improved upon. Would have given it a 4.75 star if I could have figured out how to do it.

Well machined and solidly built with exceptional fit and finish. I expected a lot when I ordered and got more than expected. I would buy again and can give this thing a great recommendation. On top of that the shipping was very fast and I had the mount just a few days after ordering. They even threw in a few little freebees. Small three way bottle opener that takes care of old traditional caps, twist off caps, and pop tops. Great for the gear bag and tackle box. Three pocket sized copies of the US Constitution that one now rides in my range bag and another is carried by my wife leaving one at home and a bottle of BBQ rub. I will be trying that out soon. Lastly there were two bumper stickers I think any and all conservatives would enjoy. Did I need the extras like I needed the mount? No, but they were a nice little thank you from LaRue.

This is a quality mount with a solid fit. If it sits too far back for your scope and you need to exchange it for their mount that does that, do not expect LaRue to credit you for the first mount as the light marks from test fitting will disqualify it. How do you know if your scope needs a forward seating mount? You can't until you test-fit. It's a catch-22. LaRue lost a customer over it.

I got LaRue's name from an ex SF guy who said they have the best products. I was looking to buy rings to mount a scope on my M4 and was heading out in a few days for some coyote hunting. I jumped on the site and ordered 1 inch rings with express shipping. When I recieced the rings they shipped me the wrong size and since i was heading out I just took it to my gunsmith who used some other mounts that cost 50 dollars instead of the 210 from LaRue. Then I call the customer service and said for them to give me a credit but first I had to return the rings that were too big. I did so and waited a month but didnt see the credit so i call again and was told that they had shipped out the right size rings that I didn't want or ask for. I was then told that until those rings came back a credit wasn't going to be processed. After a few weeks I hadn't recieced the rings so I called back to be informed that they sent it to my home address which doesn't have mail delivery. I tracked the package to a post office and the package had been sitting there from some time and since I don't have a PO box there...they didn't know how to call me and tell me I had a package. I had them return it to sender and after more than 2 months I finally got a credit. The customer service was so bad that I'll take my business elsewhere.

LaRue mounts are the best for a good reason, they simply are the best that money can buy! I often thought about going the cheaper route but decided against it because in the moment of truth I am trusting my life with my weapons, my life deserves the best and the best is LaRue.

Outstanding! What else can I say about the LaRue Tactical SPR / M4 Scope Mount QD LT104? Easy. Quality! Precision! Ease Of Installing Scope! Fantastic Fit On My M4! MADE IN USA! Excellent Video And Instructions! Exceptional Quality Fit And Finish! I could go on and on about this fantastic product, but just think! I am certain you purchased a quality firearm like I did. So, does it not make sense to purchase the best scope mount for your firearm? You BET! So after all the research, and after a great phone call to LaRue to insure proper fit (firearm, scope, MBUS, etc.) I immediately purchased the LT104 QD. I can save you all a bunch of time....I did the research, BUY A LT104 QD! Best quality mount going. In case you are wondering, I mounted a Trijicon TR22G using the LT104 QD on my Colt LE6940. Perfect Match! Also. Thanks LaRue for the couple free gifts in the box. Fast shipping by the way, and using the LaRue website is so darn user friendly. Maybe whoever designed the LaRue website could give the designers of the ACA website some pointers. Thanks LaRue! Will order another LT104 soon!

I have 4 LT-104 rifle scope mounts now where one holds a NF 30 mm scope with external turrets/ ballistic reticle, and three of them hold hunting scopes. I use these on a variety of 5.56, 6.8, .308 rifles. I move the scopes around depending on what application that I am using which rifle for at the time. The Quick Detach LT-104 has become my standard as the zero is consistent and it removes one variable from the equation when moving scopes. Over time if you shoot a lot and you do move scopes around to different guns the money you save on ammunition by not having to chase zero like you have to do with cheaper scope mount easily surpasses the delta for the original cost of the LT-104.

When I received my QD LT104 mount and LT136 spacers I could see that I got what I ordered and paid top dollar for - the very best mount for my custom M4 and Nikon scope I can get. As a retired engineer I fully appreciate a superior straightforward design, fine machining and perfect detail finish. Installed easily and remarkably really does maintain zero after removal/replacement. In short I am a completely satisfied new LaRue customer.

Add me to the list of LaRue raving fans. Bought this scope mount to complete my version of an SPR: 223 Wyle upper 22" stainless fluted barrel built by Wilson Combat, billet lower built with Spike's lower parts, a Magpul PRS stock, Harris bipod, Ergo grip, all topped off with a Bushnell Elite Tactical 3.5 x 21 34mm tubed scope with TRMOR2 reticle. Specifically designed to shoot Black Hills Mk 262 Mod 1 ammo (alternatively referred to as 5.56 with 77gr OTM Sierra Matchking). Scope was mounted using a Wheeler Scope Leveling kit. Also attached to the scope tube is an Accuracy 1st cant indicator. Test fired 3 rounds at 25 yards to print POI prior to zeroing at 100 yards. Fours shots to dead zero and confirm POA/POI at 100. Then 2 five shot groups for record. Measured size--.45 inches. Next move to 300 yards (200 range not available). Calm wind and no correction. Dialed up per JBM ballistics calculator for this specific load--first 3 rounds printed 2 inches high--adjusted scope, next four groups of 5 each were 2.4 inches smallest, 2,9 inches widest spread. Twenty more rounds (slowly) at 300 with 30 minutes or so between first and last rounds. Groups remained sub 3 inches. Back to 100 for four more groups of five with scope dialed back to original 100 yard zero. Results included punching the center of the center X in the target repeatedly with single holes. Two overall conclusions: 1) The rifle performed exactly as designed (even though the shooter is not what he once was) and 2) the LaRue scope mount is the unsung hero that never moved in any way from install to post-range cleaning. When I build again, I will rely on LaRue to ensure accuracy, reliability, and perfection--this is a GREAT product.

What is really nice is it clears my Troy flip up rear sight and gives me several options for eye relief to fit my needs. I have several other style and brands of mounts and this mount is superior in every way possible. And yes it really does hold a true zero which just blows my mind because none of my other mounts even come close. I plan on purchasing several more items from LaRue in the future. I bought an LT100, LT104, and LT111. The quality, fit, finish, and service is what you would expect from LaRue Tactical; top of the line! I have not tried removing them and remounting them to check the return to zero feature. I intended to put them on my SCAR 16s, and 17s, and Rock River M4 6.8mm. All will work on the SCAR's. Both the LT104, and LT111 will work on the SCAR with regards to the scope clearing the rear sight without being excessively tall. However if you have the cocking lever on the left side of the weapon and you are using the LT104 you will smash you're finger on the front locking lever if you grab it palm up. That means either always grabbing it palm down or moving the cocking lever to the right side. A better solution is the LT111. It is the perfect height, and you can install in with the locking levers on the right side. I will definitely buy their products in the future. SW2027

Ordered a second LT104 after being satisfied with one for a Burris MTAC 1-4 on a Stag 3G. Got a Burris Veracity 5-25 for the same gun for prairie dog shooting, and emailed LaRue ahead of time to see which mount would work. Was told the same one, so ordered it. While it works, the 5-25 is so much longer, I was unable to mount it far enough forward on the receiver without my hand hitting the scope while manipulating the charging handle two-handed. I could place the mount out on the hand guard to achieve this, but I wanted to keep it on the receiver only. I emailed LaRue, and they quickly and expertly explained the LT139 would do it. Haven't received it yet, but wanted to let all know that for a big long scope it may not place it forward far enough, and that LaRue's customer service was excellent.

I purchased a LT-104 for use with my night vision capable ITT 2.5 - 10 x 56mm scope which has a Gen 3+ night vision module that replaces the day light ocular. It is a difficult scope to find a mount for because the space between the front of the ocular and rear of the objective is fairly short compared to day light only scopes. The LaRue was one of two quality AR mounts I could find that fit the scope. (Warne and Leupold did not). I called customer service to confirm the inside and outside dimensions of the ring spacing and the tech actually got out the mount and a pair of calipers and made his own measurements for me. I ordered it right then and there. Compared to a Leupold AR mount, the scope is difficult to mount in the rings. I read the instructions twice, and watched the LaRue and another video twice before attempting to mount my scope. Even then I had to assemble it "dry" twice before proceeding with Loktight. I advise use of a Warne or other similar torque wrench to give a precise 25-28 inch pound tension on the rings. It is a confidence builder that you have assembled it correctly. My gunsmith recommended using a dab of Lokcease on the cam surface and underneath the aluminum top rail. You want a snug fit and it probably prevents galling of the aluminum upper. (I had to slightly adjust the tension on the rear locking lever which was quite a bit more snug than the front). Instructions tell you how to do this with the supplied wrench. The preparation paid off. I had a precise 200 yard zero in just 5 shots at night. I trade off this scope and mount with a 3-10x40mm Shepard in a Leupold mount with 1/2 inch hex nut attachment. The Leupold returns to zero within about one inch using a 65 inch pound torque wrench. The LArue is more accurate than my night sight. (Nigh vision scopes require very precise placement of your eye in the center of the ocular). A little wind drift is common with Night vision, so I cant say for sure how close a return to zero I have but it is adequate to hit a coyote at 200 yards in the dark! The LaRue warranty is the best in the industry. Despite high cost, I would deffinately shop with them again.

This is my third LaRue mount. I love, love, love their lever mount systems. I have two different scopes of varying magnifications and an Aimpoint that I swap between. I use all three optic systems on my M4 and depending on the intended need or use of the weapon that day I can easily swap them out with a throw of some levers. I really tried to put these mounts through their paces so that I could truly trust and depend on them to maintain their zero at all times on all three. Because all three optics mount at different spots on my flat top rifle (due to eye relief) I am able to mark and mount all three to the exact same spot on the rail at which they were zeroed. They stay zeroed. Period. I am able to use these up close with the Aimpoint and it is dead on. Then switch to my long range scope and, with the BDC reticle, hit reliably out to 600 yards. Or switch to another medium range scope and hit where I point. These mounts stay zeroed and they work. (PS - I did follow their instructions for mounting these optics to the letter and didn't try to re-engineer or think that I knew better since I have mounted and zeroed dozens and dozens of systems. I don't know if that made a difference or not, but I do know that all three of my mounts work flawlessly and that is what matters.)

Immediately recognized the quality fit and finish. Attached a Leupold Mark 4 1.5-5 MR/T mounted it on a Rock River Elite Operater II (guaranteed sub MOA) and went to the range. Started on paper first shot and adjusted from there. Yes, i could put a quarter over three shot groups at 100yds out of the Lead Sled with 55's or 62 greenies. I Detached the mount and cooled the barrel, remounted the QD LT104 and a couple guys said what the #@#$ are you doing? I then used bags for a rest and began popping the steel chicken at 200yds 10 out of 10. Yes, i ordered a 10rnd mag (perfect fit as well) from LaRue to use in the Lead Sled. I made some believers out of my peers that day as to the quality and diversity of this mount. My cousin has one too and he advised me to quit thinking about a mount and get this one. It has no equal... and its a decision made with no hindsight regret. A quality optic deserves a chance to prove its quality, don't buy an unproven mount and blame the scope. With this mount, you remove that possibility.

I'm still new to these AR platforms, so to go with the iron sights I picked up a good quality used scope. When it arrived, I knew I'd soon be looking to replace the cheap scope mount the previous owner was using. (could have been an airsoft mount) After weighing all the AR mount reviews I found as I searched far and wide, I settled on the LaRue Tactical SPR / M4 Scope Mount QD LT104. I mounted it the first day,you could tell it was a quality piece. that was almost 2 months ago, I Finally got out to the range today to test all the new changes to the AR platform and I must say, the Larue LT104 mount is TOP Notch Quality. (would buy another without question) (A little Heavy on the price) but that's me trying to get the best of the best while trying to save a few bucks in the process. I do see used ones from time to time selling for 10/20% off of new price, BUT you don't get all the tools and swag you receive when you buy new one from Larue. Some quality parts you just have to drop the coin on (buy new) and the Larue LT104 truly is a great product.

I'm not in love with the vertical ring configuration, but it seems to function well and that is what is most important. You can probably find a dozen other mounts that function as well as this one for a comparable price, that being said this mount is as good as any other at the same price point. Checked with a few of my friends then saying was looking at the larue mount were there any others to consider, when all three of them said nope that's the best I ordered one. After receiving it checked it over first to make sure it was metal, it really is that light. Then for any machining marks or blemishes, which I found none of. Went ahead and mounted the scope then, it clears my gen II mbus rear sight easily. At the ranged tested return to zero, after sighting in my scope. With my gun, ammo, and ability there was no discernible change in impact. The only thing of note was the instructions it came with were sparse. Watch the youtube video and read the instructions in the larue industry forum at ar15.com if this is your first time with a QD scope mount.

I've gotta say, I'm highly disappointed. Disappointed that I didn't find this mount sooner. I purchased this mount for a .300 Blk build to be used in the Scout configuration. It not only met, but exceeded my expectations. The quality of the workmanship is better than any other mount system I considered for the build. The ability to dismount the optics then re-attach and return to zero time and time again is remarkable. Other Q.D. mounts I've tried in the past have tended to shift P.O.I. after repeated removals and attachments, but not this one. I deliberately fired 100 rounds alternating between iron sights and scope, (odd number shots with scope, even number shots scope removed), with no discernible shift in zero. None. The only problem I have now is I want more of these mounts along with more of the Dillo Dust! Please, Mark! Sell the Dillo Dust on-line!

Thanks, great service as usual. The mount arrived in only a few days and just as expected it is a precision piece of equipment. The scope installation went flawlessly and the adjustment of the mounting levelers was extremely easy using the provided wrench. I have not had the opportunity to zero the new optic yet, but have a range trip scheduled. I will be testing the return to zero since I will also be zeroing a red dot on the same weapon. The return to zero after being removed from the gun, is my primary reason for choosing Larue. I am sure there will be no problems. I also want to thank the Larue technical staff, I sent an email requesting what mount would be the best choice for a Vortex Viper PST and the answer was given quickly and an exact clearance distant from the ocular to the rail was stated for an LT-104. I have a A.R.M.S. 40L BUIS mounted directly below the scope and it clears by .125". Nothing like good service, it is the hallmark of all great businesses.

Before I get into the product itself, I got to say not only was it shipped out quick, but the extras thrown in the box is a nice touch. Will definitely be put to use. Now, I had an ADM recon mount before which is an excellent mount, even with both mounts' pros and cons, I have to say that this Larue LT-104 mount tops it. It pretty much securely mounted on my rifle right out of the box. It's build is of excellent quality and QD levers are preferably better in my opinion. Better as in easier, quicker, and smoother to unlock/detach/re-lock with absolutely no effort. It's just a solid mount and deserves its hype. It's my first Larue mount so long term use will still be determined but I feel I would have no problems with it. I have it mated with my Leupold Mark 4 MR/T m2 1.5-5x scope. Thanks Larue.

Like everything else from LaRue Tactical, the LT104 mount does not dissapoint. Quality all the way. I can switch between my Eotech and my scope (with the LT104 mount) in about 5 seconds flat. Zero NEVER changes. Outstanding product. Personally I like this setup much better than a magnifiyer behind my Eotech, since I personally wouldn't shoot at anything with the Eotech (1 moa) much beyond 100 yards. Switching to the scope/LT104 combo in seconds provides me with the ability to hit targets at 400-600 yards. Anyone wanting a scope that can quickly be removed from their rifle and reinstalled without a loss of zero should definitely consider the Larue LT104. You won't find better at any price.

I have been using the LaRue Tactical mount (QD LT104) since I first saw them at the 2011 NRA Convention. A great product and does everything they say it will. Mounted to my Leupold scope, it always returns to zero after being removed. Awesome!

I in stalled this mount on an AR-10 and it has not let me down, it holds and repeats zero every time! They're not cheap, but you'll only buy it once. You get exactly what you pay for when choose Larue.

Fit and finish were perfect, holds scope securely. Return to zero is flawless. I have 2 of these now and will not buy anything less--just not worth it on an expensive scope.

I can't get over the excellent quality of this mount. They are expensive, but worth every cent! Shipping was very fast and the extra goodies they sent with the mount made my night! Installed a Nikon P-223 scope on it and took her to the range last night and it does everything they advertised it to do. Great product!!

My first scope mount was a LaRue product and I very much liked it. For another rifle my next scope mount was made by another well known maker. After using it for a while I sold it and went back to LaRue. It will be LaRue from now on for me.

Best scope mount for an AR, period. I have three, all return to zero when removed and reinstalled. Allows you to quickly change optics depending on your mission, and reinstall without losing your zero with either optic. Highly recommended.

I just received my mount yesterday. It came with mounting instructions and most importantly torque specs. The quality of this mount is top notch and the finish is outstanding. I particularly like the pin system on the ring halves so there is zero slipping of the rings. Mounting to the rifle is very simple. I went with this mount to have the option to switch between my EoTech on a LaRue mount and a scope without having to worry about my zero. I haven't had a chance to sight in yet but am confident I will have no issues with repeatability since the EoTech has been off and on several times without incident! Awesome product, great company and service. Very much worth the money and I highly recommend these mounts!

15 months from 04/2013 and still waiting for my Predator 556 but when it comes I have an LT 104 ready for it. Gave it 5 stars as I have the same mount on a DPMS and have found it rugged and dependable always holding zero post remount.

Great mount. Perfect finish. Rock solid mount that is well designed. The design makes mounting and dismounting very straight forward. If you want or need a removable scope mount, the cost is justified. This allows me to have one rifle for home defense and hunting/target practice. The other reviews influenced my purchase. Having the ability to remove and remount without loss of zero saves me time and ammo cost. Highly recommend!!

If you are mounting a scope like the Leupold VX-R Patrol to an AR, the LT 104 is perfect. I first tried the LT 111 and could not get proper eye relief. LaRue quickly exchanged the 111 for a 104 and I am very happy with the quality, form and function of this mount.

I hunt hogs year around and at night as well as daytime. These mounts allow me to change from a day scope to a night scope by simply flipping the levers. This allows me to have one rifle rather than two. The scopes are changed regularly without losing zero. Great product for me.

The quality of this mount, and LaRue's customer service, has made me a LT customer for life. Yes, the parts are pricey. However... this thing is built like a tank. The fit and finish are pristine, even down to the markings. Long story short, this stuff isn't foreign garbage being sold at a premium. It's good ol' American quality, from a company that goes out of their way to see a satisfied customer. And the 'Dillo Dust' and armadillo 'Beverage Entry Tool' just killed me. Sure, a lot of companies do random freebies in your packages, but for some reason, my LT orders are more treasured. I think it is because the freebies aren't just random items, like stickers (from companies that you didn't order parts from); they include some of the company's personality in it. The two aforementioned items accompanied a copy of the Constitution, and 'God Bless Our Troops, Especially Our Snipers' sticker. Really, LT seems to be filled with folks that I'd like to have a beer with. Quality, customer service, and personality... Love LaRue!

This is the mount right here. I have nothing bad to say about it. I am using it on a 5.56 AR w/ a Vortex PST 1-4 scope. Zero has been maintained no matter how many times I've removed and replaced the mount. On top of excellent products, you can expect better than great service from Larue Tactical.
