Designed to be simple, but rugged.
We designed this popular BUIS (back-up iron sight) for AR- type flattops after several operator comments at the Small Arms Symposium...we decided to do exactly as they said:
1. put lever on right side so your knuckles don't get "racked" while doing speed-clears.
2. flush-out the windage knob 'cause "it is a set-it-and-forget-it type of deal".
3. and delete the elevation stuff 'cause "it's a BUIS...not a Palma match".

Flush, coin-slotted windage adjustment

Same-plane small and large apertures

Comes complete with QD adjustment wrench, vial of blue Locktite and Instructions.

I was looking for a fixed rear sight to replace my A2 carry handle. A friend had one of these LaRue BUIS on his AR. I liked it so much I ordered one for myself! LaRue even threw in some Dillo Dust and a Dillo Entry Tool. You've definitely got a return customer LaRue!

This Iron sight is perfect if you want your rifle to embody the KISS mantra. Mounts rock solid, absolute top quality! The fine folks at LaRue Tactical also really know how to take care of their customer's, in addition to promptly shipping me my new BUIS, i also reiceved a rather clever little bottle opener and some dillo dry rub, I'll be using that tomorrow night!
