These handy low-profile clips were designed to be attached on the rail, against
optics, lasers and other MIL-STD-1913 mounted accessories, providing a
quick-index to return to the same point...especially in the dark. Each set comes
complete with 72 total clips, 60 regular and 12, designed to hold tapeswitch
wires along the rail's edge. LaRue IndexClips are easy to install, and stay-put
until pried off (a Dillo's foot works really well for this). Several clips in a
row can be used to protect a length of rail, and feature a non-slip surface.

Loved them so much bought 3 more for 3 more rifles. still all the same quality and excellent design. Love this company. It seems that everything they do is incredibly well made. They definitely won my business for the future.
I was very satisfied with these clips, and Larue Tactical as a whole. these were my first purchase from Larue Tactical. these clips were exactly what i was looking for. they are slim, won't come off unless you want them too, and eye appealing. I think they should make a fully stippled version! I was also surprised when I opened up the box to find, Dillo rub, a video, copies of the US constitution, and 2 bumper stickers. I will definitely buy these for my next AR, which I am now leaning towards a Larue Tactical. Thank you!
Much better than any other covers I have tried. A bit difficult to remove from my centurion rail though. Probably will by one of the dillo tools and give it a shot.
These are excellent, in every way imaginable! LaRue IndexClips represent the best of both worlds, in terms of being low-profile and secure. I have tried Picatinny rail covers offered by Magpul, KAC, and Troy, and while they're excellent, I found that they simply added too much bulk, at least for my preference. The fact that these are available in a multitude of colors, and priced right, is simply icing on the proverbial cake.
I have a midwest rail, and it works great. great design that looks, feels, and functions beautifully. larue has truly out done themselves. these rail covers are worth every penny. Larue's customer service, great products, and reasonable prices have won my business every time. Before I used to be a believer in mag pull but I know support larue all the way!
If you have a Troy Rail or another tight fitting one, a heat gun makes installing these a breeze. Otherwise, it's very difficult. Once they are on though, they aren't coming off except with a Dillo. - Mike, Pflugerville, TX
I have purchased several of these clips over the years and they work great. I would highly recomend this product to anyone thinking about purchasing them.

Awesome! They work great while being very low profile. Like the other reviewer said "I would like to see a completely stippled version in the future with more of a grippy rubbery feel, like my hogue pistol grip. "
These are great, they clipped right on to my Yankee Hill Diamond series rail. They are one of the most low profile rail covers I have found yet. I would like to see a completely stippled version in the future with more of a grippy rubbery feel, like my hogue pistol grip. Very innovative product keep up the good work!
Purchased these in black and I must tell you that the first three were a pain to get on. Then a lightbulb went off,to make it easier take an old t-shirt or towel and put it over the clips. You have to hook the top portion first then press the bottom portion and tap,tap with a hammer and they are on(Perfect fit). They are the best rail covers on the market hands down and as others has stated,I dont think they will ever come off,if you need to,there's the trust dillo that Larue ships.
Pretty cool design. I put a bunch of these on the side rails of my LMT. They make the weapon feel much thinner (which a good thing) than the LMT rail covers did. But, man they were a bit of a hassle to get on. I found a new "job" for my surefire mini light pressing those things on. I doubt they will ever come off. All in all very nice.
These index clips are amazing in comfort and look a lot nicer than all rail covers that I have come across and they allow you to easily mark the placement of optics and accessories that have quick disconnects in order to replace them into exactly the same location. The clips installed easily onto my Stag Arms AR-15's flat-top uppers rail, but when I went to install them onto the Diamondhead V-RS versa rail system rails they were extremely hard to install, super tight. I do not think they will ever fall off, even if bumped hard. I actually bruised my thumb pretty bad installing them all and it is worth it, they look great and provide for a very comfortable grip that the rail alone could not provide.
Keep up the great work LaRue!

Somewhat hard to put on but that only lets me know that they will stay on. Feels great and looks great. Very unique look to your rails. I recommend them and a great price for the amount you get.
They fit very secure, with no fear of losing any. Comfortable in the hand yet provide and excellent grip. The ultimate for custom design, combining colors for the one of a kind look.
Installed over a 2 week period (they were a real PITA until I figured out how to use the free Dillo for something other than opening beers) on my Sig 556 with a Troy rail. Changed my rating from 4 to 5 because if they weren't such a PITA to install they would fall off easier. Felt great after using them. Looks great & MINIMAL weight compared to the slip on rubber covers. Wire clips work fantastic & for both securing your wires, but for holding the Surefire pressure switch in the void between rails. Awesome job, guys & gals. Keep up the good work. FANTASTIC product.

Inexpensive and genius design. Great for those who want to maintain a slim profile on the rail system and protect/retain any tape switch. With using QD throw levers, one might forget where the optic/light was on the rail system; the IndexClips solves the problem. If you utilize QD levers or tape switches, the IndexClips will add intelligence to your weapon.
These work really great on DD and LaRue rails. however they dont work that great on Middwest Industries railed handguards, had to beat em on with a hammer on one of my guns. They are awesome and hold the switch cords great, and feel natural
I tried all the other rail covers and these are by far, hands down, the best choice. I love the wire control pieces, as they make tucking away the tape switch wires simple. Easy to install and remove, should you need to add accessories to your rails. Strongly recommend!
Why didn't anyone think of these before? The closest was to get the ERGO Grips ladder rail protector and cut it up, but they never sat right and were a pain to install/remove when individual... not to mention three sections cost $36! These snap on and off easily but are secure when on. The wire holders are a nice addition, no use at the moment, but in the future they'll go on. The contour and feel are similar to the Magpul XTM panels but these seem a bit more slim and you can cover exactly the rails you need to. I wanted something less bulky, more modular, and better quality than the current offerings, LaRue definitely delivered.
