COMBO/Aimpoint 3X Magnifier (#11324) and LT755-30S QD Mount (SHORT)

About VFZ™ Mounts:
VFZ™ is a new theory in the concept of clamping accessories to MIL-STD-1913 rails. Instead of using a horizontal cross-bolt, the VFZ™ uses a vertical bolt that draws up a clamping foot against the lower angle of the rail, seating the mount similarly to a fully-closed LaRue lever. Once installed on the firearm, index marks allow the user to remove the mount, then reattach to the same tension, providing unprecedented return to zero for a non-QD-levered mount. The unique vertical alignment of the clamp allows components that are structurally stronger than traditional cross-bolt designs.

Why should I select VFZ™ Mounts instead of a QD Lever Mount?:
If you intend to leave an optic or accessory on a rail for the life of the rifle, the VFZ™ option is for you. The VFZ™ is intended as a longer-term, semi-permanent mounting alternative to our well-known Speed Levers. While both mounts will allow the user to remove the mount from the weapon, reinstall it in the same position, and return to zero, the VFZ™ mount is intended for users that will not need to constantly remove and install their mounts (especially in the field).

I bought this multiplier with an Aimpoint M4s for my LMT 308. I got the Larue mount with it, and it seems to attach very well to the rifle, however, there is a little slop in the hinge when closed and open, so I am a little worried since this is a 308. Not sure how well it will hold up, but the slop may be a necessary evil when purchasing a flip to the side mount. Time will tell. P.s., read the instructions, you will need to remove the rubber from the front of the scope to mount it. Maybe this is obvious to most people, but it threw me for a couple of seconds.

Picked up this combo to go with my Aimpoint M4s with LaRue's QD mount. I have to say that this mount/magnifier package is of the best quality fit and finish I have ever seen. And the contact with customer service was excellent and shipping was very prompt. Can't say enough good about this company and their products.

Awesome mount and the magnifier is just as great. We were unsure if the LT-755S (short) mount would allow the Aimpoint magnifier to sit above the Matech 600 rear BUIS. I was ready to switch to a lower profile BUIS if necessary because I really like the flip over mount as well as the Matech. As it turns out the mount works well with a good 1/8" of space between the magnifier and the BUIS. I have it paired with the Aimpoint T1 and it's really nice. Make sure to take the rubber off of the front the magnifier before you mount the scope rings. The Aimpoint manual says to cut it off, but it will pull off in case you want to save it.

Usual great Aimpoiont. 1st LaRue purchase - mount is "better than best" and LaRue's products will be my first choice despite the cost (which is very appropriate for great quality). Pleasantly surprised by nice "freebies" in shipment-hat, opener, video. Communication appropriate for any order issues and very timely emails and delivery. I'll preferentially shop here again for their products and anything else on their site.

If you want the best in optics mounts... Here you have it. Can't say enough about these. I use my pivot mount with my Aimpoint 3x almost daily and I can attest to it's ruggedness and dependability. Buy it, you won't regret it.

My 3X magnifier and mount combo came today along with a lever mount for my CompM4 (LT-659-NV). Everything assembled just fine. Both mounts work well on my SCAR 17 and give me an absolute co-witness, the magnifier is just a touch higher than the CompM4 (maybe 1/16th inch) but makes no functional difference, also this setup positions the magnifier over the top of the standard SCAR fold down rear sight with plenty of clearance. With the magnifier tipped to the side, the SCAR rear sight can be popped up and adjusted easily and the magnifier is not in the way of the sight or its adjusters. Also the controls for the CompM4 are accessible with the magnifier in ether position. The only thing that went wrong was my girlfriend took one look in the box and ran off with the hat and the beverage opener - I think she's out on the patio sporting her new cap and drinking adult beverages - gotta go...

Purchesed this to go behind my T1 Micro with LaRue mount. Fit and finish are outstanding and go above and beyond competators products, as all LaRue items do. Shipping was very fast and the box was full of free goodies (honestly, with all the gifts they send out they do not need to bubble wrap the main item, it is well protected by, a dillo (tactical pressure vessel opening device, dillo rub- a fieid expidited entree seasoning system, DVD of the last shot show that can also be used as a signaling mirror to communicate with aircraft and a couple pocket copies of the constitution that can be distributed to the unforunate individual that live in less free states (I am speaking about you Colorado).) LaRue product can be expensive, however as my Grandfather stated "buy the best you can afford, or wait and save, then you will never have to purchase it again. I am still using my grandfathers shop tools that are getting close to a Century old, so I beleive it is good advice. Thank you LaRue.

Solid mount! This mount w/ the Aimpoint 3X magnifier fits perfect w/ the Aimpoint PRO on the Aimpoint mount! Easy to put on and easy to take off in a split second. When mount is on and locked, it is solid, no play at all! Worth every penny!

Setup and attaching to my SCAR was quite simple.......worked as advertised. On another note, LaRue had put some cool and unexpected "treats" in my box. A hat, a "Dillo" opener, some stickers, and some dry rub. I was so surprised and happy! I will shop at LaRue AGAIN for sure!!!!

Outstanding product. I just purchased one for myself, after buying one for my adult son a year ago. We both have Aimpoint Pro optics, and swapped the magnifier back and forth between our AR's dozens of times. The mount is superb - reliable, easy to mount and remove, and consistently secure. The ability to rotate the magnifier out of the way for close in shooting drills and then quickly transition to distance is excellent.

I can't say enough good things about this purchase. Simply great people to deal with. I run a Sig 516 Patrol with an Aimpoint Pro Red Dot with the factory mount. Wanted to add a magnifier and Aimpoint had the best expert reviews. However the Aimpoint twist off mount makes no sense to me. In a pinch, where do you put it? Not a fan of putting a $600 optic in my pocket or on the ground. This is a fabulous combo and the alignment couldn't be more spot on (the spacer is required on the Aimpoint Pro when combined with the short mount). The Aimpiont magnifier is easy to adjust and comes with a rubber cover already installed. Very high quality magnifier if you are building a high quality rifle. By the way, the front part of the cover must be cut off before mounting the optic. Very easy, just make sure you use a new blade in your utility knife. The price from LaRue was just a little more expensive than most were charging for just the optic! I spoke to them on the phone twice and they were a joy to work with. Package arrived quickly and well packed. I would recommend them to all my fellow enthusiasts. I will certainly order again from them.

Just purchased the Aimpoint magnifier to mount behind my Aimpoint T-1. I have purchased both pieces of glass from LaRue Tactical, because of price and mostly the mount. Price is very competitive and a rock solid mount. I just returned from running my setup at Viking Tactics Street Fight Course with Kyle Lamb. The magnifier worked flawlessly and the LaRue mount kept it in place when I was running it and out of the way when I was not. One of my mates was running another brand, but most importantly not a LaRue mount, and his magnifier had flipped back in front of him accidentally several times. That issue had slowed him down during the timed drills or some of the support side shooting positions. Last year, I was able to get magnifiers approved at my agency after conducting a T&E on Aimpoint and Eotech products. I was impressed with the glass clarity and eye relief. As a training officer, my students are always looking at my gear and asking questions. I have no problem recommending this product or this company. What ever glass you choose to run, I highly recommend checking out LaRue's mounts!

I had the same problem with the Aimpoint 3X Mag and found if I move my eye a little off center of the lens the dot goes back to a dot - no more red line. And centering the mag with the Comp M4 as in the instructions didn't help, so don't suspect that as the problem. That being said, I think this combo is the best that can be had of this type, and LaRue is the best place to buy at the best price. Their tech help truly inspires confidence.

Larue with aimpoint 3X magnifier behind aimpoint comp m4s on sig 556 xi. rock solid mount that lines up perfectly. it clears the side charging handle (just barely). the rifle is easier to use without the mount in place however for anything 50 yds and out the magnifier is very useful. will buy Larue products again.

Good magnifier. Ordered with Aimpoint CompM4s. Mounted easy & everything lined up perfectly. I zeroed my PredatAR 5.56 at 50 yards ... magnifier gets you spot on target at that distance. 3x magnification isn't much though, so I don't know how much it will help with a 150 yard or 200 yard shot. That's still to be determined.

Great fast service from LaRue. Very reasonable price for this magnifier and mount. Most places wanted over $600 for the magnifier with no mount! This was an awesome deal, getting the authentic LaRue mount and magnifier for $660.00 Great company and definitely will do business with these guys again.

Great quality product. Absolutely perfect fit behind my Aimpoint PRO with the factory mount. Rock solid construction; the mount has virtually no wiggle or looseness in either position and it won't move unless you want it to move. Transition between the two positions is smooth and easy to perform on the fly. Sits overtop of my backup iron sights without any issues whatsoever, and flipping the magnifier to the side allows easy access to the irons if need be. The magnifier itself is durable (I threw it pretty far and its perfectly fine) and view through the optic is crystal clear. If you're looking for the zero magnification to 3x magnification set-up for your AR, I highly recommend saving up for the money for this combo rather than going with a cheap alternative.

First let me say, No problems with the LaRue detachable mounts, but the 3x Aimpoint magnifier behind an Aimpoint Micro t-1 had gross distortions in the shape of the "magnified" red dot not related to astigmatism of the eye, but to the 3x optics. It appeared as a 3X red slanted line. Contacted both Aimpoint & LaRue - Returned for a refund.
