The Combat Application Tools, Inc. C.A.T. M-4 Tool allows the operator to clean the weapon and restore the bolt and carrier group to tactical tolerance in a matter of minutes. In the field, with gloved hands, and in low light conditions if necessary. The tool is currently undergoing field evaluation by selected units deployed in the global war on terrorism.

This tool is the perfect piece to complete a 3 piece combat cleaning kit. With this, a bore snake, and a bottle of Mobile 1 synthetic oil, there isn't much more you could need in a combat zone. This seriously minimizes the space taken up by a cleaning kit with a bunch of tools and attachments that I have never used in my 26 years of shooting. Essential for everyone entering a combat zone.

An essential tool for my AR that I desperately needed. Very nice cleaning/maintenance tool. Highly recommended accessory for the AR-15. As always, LaRue promptly processed and shipped my order.

The tool is very simple to use. With just a few turns, and a quick spray of CLP, I had a bolt and carrier completely free of carbon build up. Great tool that made a tedious process a snap. If you valve your time and are OCD about cleaning, this tool is made for you.
